READ: Why Antonio Conte is angry with Chelsea board

According to the Times, Conte is angry at Chelsea board for not finding adequate support for Morata during the transfer window, with the failed bid for Fernando Llorente, particularly his problem.

The former Juventus tactician does not understand how and why Chelsea let Llorente move to Spurs from Swansea.

Rumors on the final day of the transfer window said Chelsea were front runners for the Spanish striker’s signature, however, Llorente signed for Spurs before the window shut.

Chelsea also moved on Dominic Solanke to Liverpool and sent Tammy Abraham on loan to Swansea City without bringing in cover for Morata. Although Michy Batshuayi is still in the squad, Conte wants more.

His wishes make sense though, Chelsea are thin in the striker’s position as it stands with Morata possibly out for over a month.

This means Batshuayi is the only center forward Conte can rely on in as many as seven games. With his quality, arguably below the Morata’s, Conte would have hoped Chelsea had other alternatives.

So, who do you think we should sign in January to back-up Morata?
