Chelsea News: Courtois Real Madrid deal claim, Man Utd want Hazard, Barca eye Christensen

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has an agreement in place with Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The Blues ace is wanted by the La Liga champions to replace Keylor Navas at the end of the season.

That’s after Real president Florentino Perez chose to give up on Manchester United’s David De Gea and put all his efforts into signing Courtois instead.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim the 25-year-old has an agreement in place with the club to move at the end of the season.

Real are also expected to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao as they completely overhaul their goalkeeper ranks.

Courtois has been in fine form again this season, keeping 11 clean sheets in the Premier League to date.

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is reportedly a target for Barcelona.

The Blues centre-back has emerged as one of their stand-out players since coming into the side for David Luiz.

The 21-year-old had started nine successive Premier League games before illness kept him out against Brighton and on the bench for Saturday’s 5-0 win over Stoke.

And his form for the Premier League champions has not gone unnoticed, with Barcelona said to be keeping tabs on the Dane’s progress this season.

That is according to the Mirror, who claim Christensen is being considered by Barca as the Catalan giants continue their hunt for a top-class centre-half.

Ernesto Valverde is preparing for life without Javier Mascherano, who is set to leave the Nou Camp in January for the Chinese Super League.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is still keen on reuniting with Eden Hazard.

The winger’s future at Chelsea is in some doubt with the Belgian opting to wait before signing a new contract.

The Blues are ready to hand the 26-year-old a deal worth £300,000-a-week.

But Real Madrid have long tracked the Belgium international and he is looking to see if they make a move.

While Real are preparing to swoop, though, United are also in the mix.

According to The Sun, former Chelsea boss Mourinho wants to rekindle his partnership with Hazard.
