Chelsea fans love what Antonio Conte did in his press conference prior to Manchester City clash

Antonio Conte appeared to take a sly dig at the Chelsea board during his pre-match press conference for the Manchester City clash – and fans loved it.

The Blues boss was speaking ahead of his side’s trip to the Etihad and praised both Pep Guardiola and City’s ability to spend money.

Chelsea will travel back up north in fifth having lost to Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford last weekend.

Spurs’ 1-0 win over Crystal Palace moved them up to fourth.

But instead of focusing on the game in question, Conte seemed to hit out as his superiors.

Chelsea’s official Twitter account posted: “Conte speaks of his admiration for how Man City are playing this season and that it is difficult to find a weakness in their team.

“He adds that when you link a good manager with the ability to spend a lot of money, this is the result.”
