Confirmed: Chelsea to miss three key players against Manchester City

Chelsea will be without three key players for the game against Manchester City on Sunday, as they seek to wrestle back control over top four challenge.

Currently, players like David Luiz, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ethan Ampadu are ruled out of Chelsea’s upcoming games, especially this weekend.

The game against Pep Guardiola’s side has come too soon for the trio who have not made it early enough to join their teammates in training ahead of the clash.

Ross Barkley was pictured on Thursday, preparing for the game, although it remains to be seen whether he will play a part against the league leaders.

Antonio Conte says, the the three players who certainly will not be in the Match Day squad are Luiz, Ampadu and Bakayoko.

Bakayoko has been totally off the pace this season after switching from AS Monaco to Chelsea last summer and will hope to regain his focus and ambition during this long break from playing duties.
